This report is written based on many official sources of data from National Statistics Institute of the Ministry of Planning, National Bank of Cambodia and the survey conducted by the Department staffs in various markets, companies and commercial shops in the Phnom Penh Capital. Every year, the Department conducts many surveys and observations on local economic situation by the missions to many provinces to collect the real data on people income and expense, revenue collection and spending, employment growth, number visited tourists, new registered hotels and restaurants, construction activities, loan and rural credit...etc.
The monthly bulletin of statistics is published every months by the Economic and Public Finance Policy Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance in order to disseminate to the public, the statistics information on various areas in economic, which not only focuses on the economic situation of Cambodia but also the Globe's.
